Penguin Thoughts

Penguin Thoughts: Round 1

As I watched the penguins on a daily basis on my trip to Antarctica I couldn’t help but wonder what they were thinking.  My photography goal, on a couple of days of shooting, were focused on gathering great reactions from the penguins.  I think my results were great.

What I’ve decided to do with this then is have you put in your quotes for the penguins.  What are these penguins saying/thinking?  It’s up to you, put your responses in the comment box below, I will be posting a new entry each and every week.  At the end of the month I will pick my favourite quote and give them a free print of the image.

If you would like to buy a print of the image, you can click on the image below and do that through the good people at ImageKind.

Have fun with this series, I think it will be good.  Here’s the first image, a photo of two gento penguin chicks and one of their parents:

  1. Poor Brian. He’s not as loud and proud as Kevin is about the whole thing. Next photo: Brian tells HIS parents (feathers fly).

  6. Okay first, all i can think is “does the big penguin know some bird pooped on his back?”

That aside, the only captions I’m thinking of are pretty lame, but here goes:

“How come he gets to wear a tux and I’m still in short feathers?” (haha get it?)

  7. Those penguins are so cute. It doesn’t help that I’m also unrealistically picturing them singing and dancing like Happy Feet. As for a quote, I can’t think of anything clever. But I like first post.

  8. Hope you had as much fun as we did on your Antarctica trip. However, I think you should leave the photo captioning to Torre.
