Guinea-Bissau Travel Guides
After leaving Senegal and the Gambia behind I found myself drawn to the idea that Guinea-Bissau would hold the adventure I was looking for. However, the country left me reeling and definitely got the best of me. The people of Guinea-Bissau are some of the friendliest in the world, but the poor infrastructure, heavy rains, and the fact I brought a case of malaria with me from Senegal wore me right down to the core. I left Guinea-Bissau feeling a little bit disappointed in myself. I felt like I should have given it more of a go than I did. But then again, sometimes when the travel gods speak you just have to listen.
