Photo of the Week: A Messy Wedding
This past weekend I went to a wedding, something I’m not famous for doing. I’ve never been great at taking pictures of people, as my friends will tell you, but I thought I’d pack along the heat (the DSLR) anyways. If you’ve never been to a Peruvian wedding it’s a fairly typical catholic wedding. The sermon is about trust and love and commitment, and the everyone is well behaved. As soon as the sermon ends, things change. As the bride and groom leave the church friends and family launch rice, flower pedals, small children (ok, maybe not) at the bride and groom. As everyone filed out of the church I managed to pull the trigger on this shot, which I think turned out quite well.
