As you’ve seen over the past couple weeks on the travel blog, I’ve had the chance to stay in some pretty amazing hotels in South Africa. Almost everywhere I’ve stayed has been of the luxury variety, and believe me after some 16 months in Africa living on an extremely tight budget, I have enjoyed every minute of this.
And well I do enjoy being pampered at a nice hotel, for me a hotel is all about location, and I’m not sure there’s been a hotel thus far with a better location than the Beacon Island Resort in Plettenberg Bay.
Beacon Island Resort, which is another one of the Tsago Sun properties like the Cape Sun, is basically dropped right on top of the ocean. It’s location is incredible, and its spot makes it one of the best targets for photography anywhere I’ve been. Thus, for this week’s photo of the week, I’m not giving you one photo, but rather a series of photos from the beautiful Beacon Island Resort in Plettenberg Bay. Enjoy!
