Bow Fiddle Rock, Scotland

Description

Bow Fiddle Rock is one of the most iconic locations in Scotland.  Well, at least for landscape photographers.  Most photographers tend to come here at low tide when there’s a little bit more foreground interest.  Due to time constraints, I didn’t have a choice, I came at high tide.

As is often the case in photography, though, taking pictures at “the wrong time” turned out to be a blessing.  Instead of a busy foreground of rocks, I could keep the scene much more clean and show of the power of the moving sea.
