Cameroon Travel Guides

In many ways, Cameroon is Africa in a nutshell.  At the very least, it is the vision many people have when they think of Africa.  Cameroon, situated just north of the equator, is featured by tall green covered mountains, rich green jungle, red dirt roads along which women wearing bright coloured clothing carry goods on their heads, and some brilliant wildlife.  From the English-speaking coastal town of Limbe, which settles under the shadow of the imposing Mount Cameroon, to the laid-back French-speaking capital of Yaounde, Cameroon is a breath of fresh air.  Though parts of the country are marred by rough roads and lacking infrastructure, Cameroon is home to some of the friendliest people in Africa.  There is an air of comfort here, and an ease to the way of life here.  Personally, I think you’ll fall in love with Cameroon.

  1. Dear Brendan,

Greetings from Cameroon. I am Joshua Chiamba, co-founder of Cameroon Association for Sustainable Tourism(www.camast.com) and has found your guide very interesting.

I have a little worry and also think that you have it in your next plan. To include North West and Western regions on your with all our rich cultures.

CAMAST is a project with RUDEC which is a charity at rudec.org so i will like to hear from you as you make plans ahead.

    Thanks

    Joshua
