Nigeria Travel Guides

Ah Nigeria.  There’s something about this country.  It holds almost 20% of all Africans and there is little sense that it doesn’t.  There’s no way around the fact that there are a whole lot of people in this country.  The cities swell with traffic and can feel beyond chaotic at times.  However, there is still something peaceful about Nigeria.  There are still the rural highways that bob and weave through the green hills.  There are still the wild rivers lined with lush jungle.  And there is still the charm of the Nigerian people.  It’s easy to build pre-conceived notions about Nigeria, but I think if you give it a chance that you might just like it.

  1. Hey Brendan, just wondering how’d you get a visa to enter nigeria?? I am in Accra now (also traveling by motorbike) and have just been to the Nigerian embassy where they have told me I cannot apply for a visa here because I am not a resident of Ghana… they say I need to apply in my home country…but I left over a year ago!!

Have you heard where you can obtain Nigerian visa from? Obviously Bamako but anywhere else?

Thanks mate – hope to hear from you soon
