If you’re heading to Orlando, Florida on holiday this year, there are some great ways you can make your money go further without compromising on your break! From your accommodation arrangements to the attractions you visit, there are always savings you can make. Here are some of the best ways to have a good time in Orlando without breaking the bank:
You can cut down on lodging costs by renting cheap Florida villas, which often works out cheaper than staying at the resorts – particularly if you’re going to Disney World. As well as getting your own space rather than a crowded resort to come back to, you have a choice of hundreds of villas depending on what you want to be close to.
If you’re going to one of the four Disney theme parks – Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom – you will probably be offered a lot of extras that seem like a good deal at the time, but in reality you probably won’t have time for. Unless you’re absolutely sure you want a water park pass, you can probably skip these.
Orlando has plenty of restaurants that offer fine dining, but if you’re watching your wallet, there are some great cheap eateries that offer regular deals. Cici’s Pizza is an all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta and salad buffet for just $4.49, Sizzlers does good breakfasts at a low price and Sweet Tomatoes on I-Drive offers a healthy option for less than you’d normally pay.
Renting a car for the duration of your stay is a smart idea if you’re planning on travelling around a bit – it works out a lot cheaper than taking taxis everywhere, and gives you more freedom to go where you want on your holiday!
